Give with Dignity: Finolex Industries Initiative Completes Five Years of Compassionate Action

Give with Dignity

Pune: Finolex Industries Limited and Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF) have completed the fifth edition of their flagship social impact campaign, Give with Dignity, reaffirming their commitment to empowering vulnerable communities across India.

Launched in 2020 as a pandemic relief initiative, Give with Dignity has evolved into a nationwide movement that channels festive gifting budgets into meaningful community support.

The campaign has reached underserved groups including daily wage earners, rickshaw drivers, farm workers, people with disabilities, transgender individuals, and tribal communities.

Give with Dignity: Empowering Local Communities Through Inclusive Partnerships

MMF partners with self-help groups, women entrepreneurs, and local MSMEs to source, assemble, and distribute festive and hygiene kits.

These dignity kits are locally made and regionally tailored, reflecting the initiative’s “Buy Local, Give Local” ethos. Diyas included in the kits are handcrafted by people with disabilities, ensuring the act of giving sustains livelihoods while spreading festive joy.

In its fifth year, the Give with Dignity campaign distributed 10,000 kits across 11 states — including Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, and West Bengal.

Nationwide Impact of Give with Dignity

Since its inception, Give with Dignity has served more than three lakh individuals across 24 states, collaborating with corporates, NGOs, and donors. Between 2020 and 2025, MMF distributed over one lakh dignity kits, revived 120 self-help groups, and helped 30 SHGs register as MSMEs.

The first edition saw participation from 40 corporates, including six multinationals, benefiting over 4,500 frontline workers.

Ritu Prakash Chhabria, Managing Trustee, Mukul Madhav Foundation, said: “For five years, Give with Dignity has been about more than distributing kits – it’s about sharing hope, respect, and human kindness. Our goal is to ensure the joy of festivals reaches every part of society, especially those often overlooked. I extend gratitude to corporates, donors, and our on-ground partners whose collaboration made this possible. I also thank Finolex Management and the Board for continuing to support this vision that began during the pandemic.”

A Legacy of Compassion and Sustainability

The Give with Dignity campaign continues to reflect Finolex Industries and MMF’s commitment to inclusive growth through long-term initiatives in healthcare, education, water conservation, and social welfare. The program symbolizes how compassion, when shared collectively, can illuminate countless lives across India.
